George P. Webb, CF2®
George P. Webb serves as Chief Executive Officer of Pension & Wealth Management Advisors, bringing more than 30 years of experience in the investment management industry. Throughout his career, George has advised both institutional and private wealth clients on the design, implementation, and oversight of sophisticated investment programs. His extensive global experience—having traveled to major financial centers around the world—adds valuable international perspective to the firm’s investment and advisory capabilities.
Before leading PWMA, George held senior management positions at several of the industry’s most respected firms, including Fidelity Investments, Northern Trust Global Investments, and Nuveen Investments. He began his career at Aetna Capital Management, where he worked closely with institutional clients on their pension plans, endowments and foundations.
George earned his B.A. in Economics & History from Tulane University, holds an M.B.A. in Finance & Marketing from the Kellogg Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University and was a Ph.D. Candidate in Finance & Entrepreneurship at Bentley University. George is a member of the CFA Institute, the Boston Security Analysts Society, and the National Association of Certified Financial Fiduciaries (NACFF).
Beyond his professional commitments, George is deeply engaged in community service. He volunteers with several nonprofit organizations, including The Hale Reservation and CCT Boston, and previously served as President of the Dover-Sherborn Gridiron Club. A former varsity football coach at Dover-Sherborn Regional High School, George also hosted The Coaches Corner, a weekly community television program. He resides in Dover, Massachusetts with his family.
Neil G. Mcinnis, AIF, CFP®
Neil G. McInnis is a Managing Partner in Strategic Initiatives and co-founder of Pension & Wealth Management. Neil started in the financial services industry as an insurance and benefits specialist in 1986. Over the past 30 years Neil has worked extensively with qualified retirement plan sponsors and their participants. Giving guidance on investment education, allocation strategies and the development of investment policy statements is an integral part of his background experience. Neil is a Certified Financial Planner™ and a Chartered Life Underwriter with the American College. Additionally, Neil holds an A.I.F. (Accredited Investment Fiduciary) designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies at the University of Pittsburgh. Neil has been a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons “Life after Orthopedic” education faculty since 2006. He has been a guest presenter at the A.A.O.S. national conferences. He has presented topics on retirement planning as well as the preservation of “human capital”.
Neil is an avid skier and competitive cyclist. He is also a member of NEMBA (New England Mountain Bike Association). In the off-season, Neil coaches indoor trainer sessions for a wide range of cycling enthusiasts. Neil resides in Princeton, Massachusetts.
David J. Serpa
David J. Serpa is a Managing Partner and M&A Advisor at Pension & Wealth Management Advisors. David brings over 25 of years executive experience driving business transformation and maximizing shareholder value. Prior to joining the firm, he served as managing director at Mentor Partners where he led the management consulting mergers and acquisitions advisory practice while evaluating investment opportunities for the private equity division.
Prior to joining Mentor, he served PRTM Management Consultants (now PricewaterhouseCoopers, PwC) where he conducted operational and technology due diligence, business process outsourcing, and developed business strategies in support of corporate clientele and private equity mergers and acquisitions. David’s ability to analyze business operations, drive business innovation and implement strategy and tactical solutions will help grow the mergers and acquisitions advisory and wealth management business for Pension & Wealth. His experience spans several industries including – manufacturing, healthcare, technology, and aerospace and defense. David earned his B.A. degree from Boston College and his M.B.A. from Boston University Graduate School of Business.
A former soccer player at BC and competitive sailor from Rhode Island, David now spends his time as a professional ski instructor in Sugarbush, Vermont and coach for youth soccer in Charlestown, MA; he is a board member of Charlestown Youth Soccer Association, co-founder of the Charlestown Youth Soccer Development Program and Charlestown Steel United Club Soccer.
Brian T. Gasbarro, AIF®, CPFA
Brian T. Gasbarro is a Retirement Plan Advisor and has been working in the financial industry for over 14 years. Brian spent his first 6 years of his career as an Investment Trader at JPMorgan Chase in Boston. Over the last decade, Brian has focused on working with Plan Sponsors and participants in qualified retirement plans. He helps plan sponsors with ERISA compliance, plan design, employee education, plan benchmarking and investment guidance.
He holds an AIF (Accredited Investment Fiduciary) which is accredited by The American National Standards Institute. Brian currently serves as a Board Member at Cornerstone VNA and has served on other not for profits in the past. Brian attended Marist College where he played Division I football, and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Bridgewater State University.
Brian enjoys golf, coaching his son’s sports teams, and spending time with his family. Brian currently lives in Acton, MA with his wife and two children.
James M. Boyd, CFA
James M. Boyd is a Wealth Management Advisor at Pension & Wealth Management Advisors and has been in the investment management industry for over 30 years. James began his investment career at John Hancock Advisors and has since worked for Harbor Capital Management and State Street Advisors. Over the prior two decades he was a senior equity research analyst and portfolio manager serving institutional and wealth management clients at Newton Investments. James helped manage award winning small and mid-cap value strategies at Newton.
James earned his B.A in Economics and History from Colgate University and his Master of Science in Finance from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. James is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society.
James enjoys golfing and skiing with his sons. He is the proud parent of six children and resides in Dedham, Massachusetts.
Mark J. Majka, CFA
Mark J. Majka is Chief Investment Officer at Pension & Wealth Management Advisors and has 28 years of investment management experience. Mark began his investment career in the pension consulting division of Mellon Bank. He has since worked for investment firms including Wilshire Associates, Baring Asset Management, Scudder Investments, Fortis Investments, and BNP Paribas where he became a research analyst on the U.S. Equity team in both large and small cap stocks, co-portfolio manager of the BNP Paribas Small Cap Fund, and portfolio manager of the BNP Paribas Global Industrials Sector Fund.
Mark received his undergraduate degree in Finance from Saint Bonaventure University, his M.B.A. from Duquesne University, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Mark enjoys golfing and fishing. He is the proud parent of two adult children and resides in Franklin, Massachusetts.
Bradley C. Cannon, Pharm.D.
Brad Cannon brings together financial expertise and academic leadership in his role at Pension & Wealth Management Advisors, where he serves as both a Wealth Management Advisor and the Provost for Pension and Wealth University (PWU). With over three decades of experience in higher education, he is nationally recognized for his contributions to professional development and teaching excellence.
Before joining PWMA, Brad held faculty and leadership roles at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Rosalind Franklin University, where he where he played an active role in investment governance, risk management, and oversight of retirement programs. He is deeply committed to financial literacy and continues to mentor health care and other professionals across multiple disciplines.
Brad’s commitment to education has earned him numerous accolades, including Teacher of the Year honors, multiple Golden Apple Teaching Awards, and recognition from professional organizations such as the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy. At PWU, he leverages this deep expertise to elevate the firm’s educational outreach and client education initiatives, ensuring that both clients and their families are equipped with the knowledge to make informed financial decisions.
Outside of work, Brad enjoys biking, hiking, and cooking, volunteers at the Center of Enriched Living, and resides in Highland Park, Illinois.
Frederick F. Sears
Frederick F. Sears is a Senior Portfolio Manager at Pension & Wealth Management Advisors and has been in the wealth management business for over 25 years. Mr. Sears was originally trained as a general analyst for an offshore multi-billion dollar hedge fund ran by the co-manager of the precursor to Fidelity’s Magellan fund. Fred has worked extensively with the investing public as well as high net worth and ultra high net worth individuals providing general investment recommendations, customized investment portfolios, commentary on individual stock selections, and broad economic overviews. As a former CIO, Fred helped to design models for a public investment company and was also the sole mutual fund portfolio manager where he achieved a Morningstar rating of 4 Stars* in the large blend category. He has made dozens of television and radio appearances for CNBC, Bloomberg and Reuters and has been interviewed by such noteworthy individuals as Maria Bartiromo, Neil Cavuto, Tyler Matheson and Dylan Ratigan. Mr. Sears has been quoted and interviewed in all of the major financial press and has spoken at many financial conferences as a guest speaker. He attended Brooks School, School Year Abroad in Rennes France and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University.
Fred enjoys helping to support underserved animals in Africa/USA, is an avid photographer and serves on a Council at Joslin Diabetes Foundation. Fred grew up in Manchester, Massachusetts and currently resides outside of Boston.
Allison A. Majka
Allison A. Majka is the Director of Client Service and Human Resources at Pension & Wealth Management Advisors. Allison began her professional career working in the area of Human Resources where she held positions in executive training and development. She managed health insurance, benefit programs, and supervised a staff responsible for updating and monitoring records for 16,000 employees.
After staying home to raise her two adult children, Allison opened a successful frozen yogurt business and managed all aspects of the business including customer service, financial management, payroll management, personnel management, and training.
Allison earned her B.S. in Education with a concentration in Mathematics from Saint Bonaventure University where she graduated with membership in Kappa Delta Pi and Pi Mu Epsilon honor societies. Allison resides with her husband in Franklin, Massachusetts.
Helen L. Barber
Helen L. Barber is Director of Marketing and Research at Pension & Wealth Management Advisors. With over 20 years of experience in the investment management industry, Helen has worked with institutional investors and the consultants that advise them in Europe, the United States and Asia. George and Helen have worked together for over a decade supporting some of the world’s largest institutional investors with their investment decision making processes. She has also worked with the largest wealth management firms in the UK and across Europe. Prior to joining the firm, Helen held positions at The Bank of New York, State Street Global Advisors and Nuveen Investments. Helen earned her BSc. in Economics at the University of Southampton, UK. She is a trustee and co-founder of SUDC UK, a not-for-profit organization which focuses on supporting bereaved families, and raising awareness of and funds for medical research into Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood.
In her spare time, Helen enjoys outdoor sports and being beside or on the ocean. She currently resides in the UK with her young family.
Hannah R. Fortier
Hannah R. Fortier is a Client Service Associate at Pension & Wealth Management Advisors. In 2022, she received her Master of Science in Applied Economics from Boston College. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics-Economics from Merrimack College. While earning her undergraduate degree, Hannah worked for a non-profit childcare program as a group leader. Hannah has joined our firm to assist in paraplanning and operations.
In her free time, Hannah enjoys reading and traveling the world. She is from Amesbury, Massachusetts, but currently lives in Brookline, Massachusetts with her three roommates.
Thomas E. Wade, CFP®, CMFC
Thomas E. Wade is a wealth management advisor at Pension & Wealth Management Advisors with over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Pension & Wealth, Tom founded Devonshire Asset Management, Inc. The firm specialized in retirement planning and income management, focusing on helping individuals and families optimize their financial resources. Tom’s extensive background includes serving as an equity analyst for a prominent Boston-based money management firm and as a member of the investment committee at a Wellesley Hills wealth manager. In his previous roles, Tom was responsible for both asset allocation and equity management for over 250 individual clients.
Tom earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He is a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner and earned the Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor designation from the College of Financial Planning.
Andrew J. Powers, CHFC
Andrew J. Powers is a Retirement Plan Advisor at Pension & Wealth Management Advisors and has been working in the financial industry for over 25 years. Drew started his career in institutional sales and sales management at Scudder Kemper Investments. Over the last twenty years, Drew has worked in various areas of the Retirement Planning business, holding positions such as Divisional Vice President at UNIFI Companies Retirement Plans, President at PRBA, Inc., and Vice President of Retirement Services at USI Consulting Group. Most recently, Drew has worked as a consultant for LPL Financial and the National Wealth Management Group as well as a FINRA National Arbitrator. He has helped plan sponsors with annual platform reviews, maximizing plan design, investment efficiencies and participant engagement strategies.
Drew is a ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) which is accredited by The American College of Financial Services. He also has his Life Insurance License in Indiana. Drew earned his Bachelors of Science in Business at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Drew currently lives in Carmel, Indiana.
Charles A. Ferrone, CLU, CHFC
Charles A. Ferrone is the Founder Emeritus of Pension & Wealth Management Advisors, he presently works with our team on strategic initiatives. For the past 35 years he has worked in wealth management focusing on retirement planning, investment planning and estate conservation and distribution. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Dickinson College and earned his Chartered Life Underwriter and his Chartered Financial Consultant designations from The American College. He saw military service as an officer in the Adjutant Generals Corp of the U. S. Army.
Charles was also President of Pension and Compensation Planners, Inc., a firm he led for over 25 years ago which established retirement plans for closely held corporations.
He was also President of both The Boston & The New England chapters of the General Agents and Managers Association, Director of the Northeastern University Insurance Institute, member of the Boston Management Roundtable and Who’s Who in Finance and Industry.
